About

My logo was inspired by my love of Australian flora and fauna. The kangaroo with the perfect pouch for the joey, keeping her baby safe and close. This is one of the ways I learned how to nurture my own baby, in his carrier! He loved to be cuddled and held in close contact, and still loves it. The colours of the logo reflect the wonderful elements of the Aussie bush.

When I was pregnant, I knew I wanted to breastfeed. The day after my son was born, I had a skype session with Dr Robyn Thompson, who helped me understand a gentle, and evidence-based method of breastfeeding known as The Thompson Method. My unique breastfeeding experience wasn’t without complications, and I was given lots of confusing messages and advice from other well-meaning health professionals. I kept reaching out to Dr Robyn and her team, and together we got through. The support I received helped me build my confidence, trust my instincts, and stay true to my passion of breastfeeding which was worth everything to me.

I believe in this program and when I was given the opportunity to study the Thompson Method, I knew it was the right path for me to share my passion and be the guide for Mama's transitioning through labour, birth and breastfeeding.

As a Certified Educator, I will be sharing the Beautiful Breastfeeding Program with women who wish to educate themselves before their baby joins the world…..which is actually a huge advantage as once baby is born, Mama’s get very busy!

I am also working towards Practitioner Certification where I will provide one-on-one consultations for breastfeeding women experiencing complications, provide emotional support and reassurance.

One of the things I love about this role, is hearing the stories of mothers.....the challenges, the triumphs and everything in between.

A quote I read somewhere and used to say to myself when my resolve for breastfeeding waned was 'never quit on your hardest day'.

I have plenty to learn on this new journey, and no doubt every woman I meet will have an influence on my learning.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to connect with you!
